I've been building engaged communities since 2009. At the time I was interested in speaking about Open Source software, tech entrepreneurship and startups.
In 2012, I moved to Silicon Valley, where I helped several companies to create, grow and monetize global developer audiences. I got totally immersed in that field, and today I strongly believe that the best way for an independent artist to build a sustainable business around their music is by building a solid, engaged global fan base.
In the book Entrepreneurship for Musicians I explore the similarities between what I used to do for global tech companies, and what can be translated and applied to the realm of "independent artists".
I'm super excited about this project - it's my best work yet.
